The City of Eutaw, Greene County, Greene County EMA, Alabama EMA, Governor Ivey, Congresswoman Sewell, and FEMA have worked together to provide a local disaster recovery center to help citizens address their concerns.

According to FEMA, the best way to apply for assistance is by visiting DisasterAssistance.gov or call 1-800-621-3362.

Mayor Johnson and #TeamEutaw have worked very hard to coordinate with many other agencies and people to bring this valuable resource to Eutaw so our citizens can easily access the much-needed assistance. We would like to take this opportunity to remind citizens, that the Disaster Recovery Center is a FEMA coordinated activity. The City of Eutaw and City Employees do not have any access to the FEMA system, do not have any ability to help with the FEMA application process, and are not able to work with FEMA on your behalf. We would encourage citizens to contact FEMA directly or to work with the local FEMA Disaster Recovery Center to address their needs.

The FEMA Disaster Recovery Center will be open, starting Tuesday, February 7th, 2023 at 1:00 pm and then open daily, Monday to Saturday, from 8am to 6pm to assist local citizens with their needs.

The Disaster Recovery Center will be located at the RH Young Community Center (formerly Carver Middle School) 720 Greensboro Ave, Eutaw, AL 35462.

Additionally, FEMA provides the following helpful information to ensure your application process is easier to navigate.
