As part of the preliminary engineering study, the City of Eutaw Water Department is installing automatic disconnection valves on customer meters. Water Department Office Staff will be able to disconnect/reconnect customer accounts, which will allow for the water department employees to do more preventative work and maintenance to the water system.
This is part of the proposed 3.5 million dollar water project which will help to improve the reliability and quality of the water system.
